Originating as a spin out company from Queen's University and the University of Nottingham, EventMAP Limited has close links with the internationally renowned Automated Scheduling Optimisation and Planning(ASAP) research group and the Knowledge and Data Engineering(KDE) Group. This has enabled the implementation of leading edge research based techniques within the EventMAP Approach.
The team at EventMAP Limited have much experience in the area of optimisation from both a practical and research perspective. This experience has afforded a unique insight into the problems associated with and potential solutions to optimisation within institutions.
The EventMAP Team have extensive practical experience analysing business scenarios and implementing appropriate optimised solutions within institutions. Together with the integration of leading edge research based techniques and rigorous software development, they have developed a unique approach to the provision of optimisation in practice.
Central to the EventMAP philosophy is that software only represents part of the solution. The key issue is understanding when, where and how software should be used and to what extent leading edge research techniques and automation play a role. EventMAP Limited therefore aim at understanding the problem area from both a practical and research perspective.
